Job summary

PwC International in Malaysia seeks an Associate to support tax services, fund administration and accounting for private equity funds. You will validate client compliance, prepare financial statements, and assist in audits with a focus on accurate IFRS disclosures.

Strong Excel, client service mindset, and teamwork are essential. Candidates should have 1–2 years in fund administration or Big 4, with English proficiency and preference for Mandarin.

Qualifications

• You hold a Bachelor and/or master’s degree in accounting or economics.
• You have 1–2 years of relevant experience in alternative investment fund administration or Big 4 audit.
• Competent IFRS accounting knowledge and ability to prepare disclosures.
• Strong MS Excel skills; proficient with MS Word/PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and verbal English; Mandarin is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Onboard new clients and set up funds and structures in the accounting system.
• Provide quality accounting, bookkeeping and fund administration for private equity/real estate funds.
• Prepare NAV reporting packs, trial balances, and general ledgers.
• Coordinate audits with auditors and assist on day-to-day fund operations.
• Handle capital activity calculations and AML documentation; manage investor registers.
