Job summary

Citi is hiring for an Officer, Securities & Derivatives Intermediate Analyst - C11, based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. You will manage end-to-end account opening, coordination with Transfer Agents and Fund Management Companies, and ensure governance-compliant onboarding for clients.

The role requires strong attention to detail, knowledge of investment funds and strong stakeholder management. It offers hybrid work arrangements and opportunities for process improvements and UAT involvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in investment funds, fund distribution, custody, transfer agency or securities operations.
• Familiarity with mutual funds and other collective investment vehicles.
• Ability to interpret fund documentation and translate requirements into operational actions.
• Strong documentation-control discipline and attention to detail.
• Good stakeholder-management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end account-opening setup and maintenance for client accounts.
• Coordinate with Transfer Agents, Fund Management Companies and internal teams.
• Validate documentation and ensure compliance with governance requirements.
• Ensure accounts are operationally ready before trading commences.
• Support account migrations, novations and changes of nominee or registration details.
• Identify opportunities to standardize and automate onboarding processes.
