Job summary

Citi is seeking a Client Onboarding Lead Analyst in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for a full‑time role. You will manage customer interactions, document handling, and system setups for account opening and maintenance, while driving process improvements and risk controls across the onboarding function.

Responsibilities include coordinating with internal teams, ensuring high‑quality service, and guiding complex workflows.

Qualifications

• Experience in documentation review and account maintenance.
• Bachelors degree in finance or economics or equivalent experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Project management experience with cost management.
• Ability to work with senior management and regulators.
• Willingness to work staggered hours, weekends, or public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer interaction, documentation issuance, review and system setups.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of all account opening functions and high‑quality service.
• Manage account opening and maintenance processing, including in-process and pending work.
• Lead cross‑functional projects in the account services space and define new procedures.
• Understand client requirements and ensure adequate support for new initiatives.
• Monitor customer satisfaction and drive process improvements and risk controls.
• Support risk management practices and audit readiness.
• Plan projects, cost management, and migration training materials.
• Engage with senior stakeholders to align strategy and priorities.
