Job summary

Citi's Securities & Derivatives Intermediate Analyst role in Kuala Lumpur focuses on end-to-end operational setup and maintenance of client accounts within CIS, ensuring onboarding is completed accurately and on time before trading.

You will coordinate account opening with Transfer Agents and Fund Management Companies, review fund documentation, validate static data, and help resolve documentation gaps while upholding risk and control standards.

Qualifications

• Experience within investment funds, fund distribution, custody, transfer agency or securities operations.
• Good understanding of mutual funds and other collective investment vehicles.
• Familiarity with Transfer Agent account-opening and registration requirements.
• Ability to interpret fund documentation and translate requirements into operational actions.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation-control discipline.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for end-to-end operational setup and maintenance of client accounts within CIS.
• Manage the end-to-end account-opening process with Transfer Agents and Fund Management Companies.
• Review onboarding requirements and determine documentation for fund-account establishment.
• Prepare and submit Transfer Agent applications and supporting documents.
• Coordinate onboarding with internal teams and resolve gaps or rejections.
