Job summary

WAI HONG BROTHERS SDN BHD is seeking an experienced UAT Tester to validate Cash Management solutions. You will prepare and execute UAT scripts, review test data and cases, and log defects using HPALM, JIRA, and Confluence.

Collaboration with IT and product teams is essential to ensure system quality and timely go-live. Candidate should have 3+ years in functional testing; banking domain knowledge (internet/mobile) is advantageous; ISTQB CTFL is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in UAT for cash management or related modules.
• Experience with internet/mobile banking domains is advantageous.
• ISTQB CTFL certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) for Cash Management.
• Prepare and review UAT scripts, test data and test cases.
• Prepare, support and execute test plans on systems/applications.
• Log defects in HPALM/JIRA/Confluence and retest fixes.
• Document test cases/scripts and prepare handover for go-live.
• Prepare user guides/training material and support production issue UAT.
• Collaborate with product/IT teams to understand business requirements for testing.

• Candidate with Cash Management background will be added advantage
• At least three years of working experience in Functional Testing.
• Candidate with Internet banking domain knowledge and Mobile banking will be added advantage
• Candidate with RPP knowledge background will be good
• Able to multi-task effectively and work under project timeline pressure
• Possess good interpersonal, communication, patient and details
• Independent and self-motivated
• ISTQB - (CTFL) certification is a plus
• Candidate with IT technical background, Fintech and Engineering fields are welcome to apply
• Responsible to conduct user acceptance test (UAT) for Cash Management
• Preparing or reviewing UAT test script, test data & test cases
• Prepare, support & execution of test plans on system/application
• Performing UAT execution, log defects in HPALM/JIRA/Confluence if have any
• Performing retest on the fixed defect, follow up closely until the defect closure
• Records and document test cases, scripts and prepare support team for system go live
• Prepare User guide / training material
• Ensure software quality control
• Conducting BAU production issue UAT on periodical basis
• Work closely with internal product manager, IT, IT vendors closely to understand the business requirements in order to complete the system testing.

Technical/Functional skills:

• Internet banking domain knowledge and Mobile banking application
• Testing tools usage - HPALM/JIRA/Confluence
• Daily progression reports / dashboard
• Able to read/write/understand XML file format will be advantage
