Job summary

Forest One Network Enterprise Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a detail-oriented Software Tester to join our technology team and support QA of e-wallet, loyalty, e-commerce, SaaS, and web/mobile applications. You will validate functionality and work with developers and BAs in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.

• Experience testing web and/or mobile applications.
• Good understanding of functional testing, regression testing, and defect management.

• Able to understand business requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios and test cases.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with good attention to detail.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with developers, BAs, and other team members.

Responsibilities

• Execute manual test cases based on business requirements, functional specifications, and test scenarios.
• Perform functional, integration, system, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing.
• Validate web and mobile application functionality across different user flows and scenarios.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using tools such as JIRA or other defect management tools.
• Provide clear and detailed defect reports, including steps to reproduce, expected results, actual results, and supporting evidence.
• Work closely with developers and BAs to investigate, clarify, and resolve reported issues.
• Perform retesting and regression testing after defects or enhancements are implemented.
• Support SIT, UAT, and production release validation activities.
• Review requirements and provide testing feedback to identify potential gaps or issues early in the development cycle.
• Participate in Agile activities such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Software Tester to join our technology team and support the quality assurance of e-wallet, loyalty, e-commerce, SaaS, and web/mobile applications. You will be responsible for validating application functionality, identifying potential issues, and ensuring that software meets the expected business and technical requirements before release. You will work closely with developers, Business Analysts (BAs), Project Managers, and other stakeholders in an Agile environment. • Mobile application testing on both Android and iOS.
• Agile/Scrum development practices, including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Basic understanding of API integration, databases, and SQL.
• Experience supporting SIT, UAT, release testing, and production validation.
