Responsibilities

• Develop test scripts, test conditions, input test data, and expected results based on the application requirements
• Develop, update, and maintain testing standards and procedures
• Execute test scripts
• Record problems and issues in accordance with the project's problem and issue management plans
• Work with the application team to resolve any issues that arise out of the testing process
• Validate product fixes
• Inform the test lead/test manager of any issues that may affect the schedule, budget, or quality of the product or the testing process
• Document and follow detailed instructions within test scripts and defects tracking documents

Key responsibilities

Develop test scripts, test conditions, input test data, and expected results based on the application requirements

Develop, update, and maintain testing standards and procedures

Execute test scripts

Record problems and issues in accordance with the project's problem and issue management plans

Work with the application team to resolve any issues that arise out of the testing process

Validate product fixes

Inform the test lead/test manager of any issues that may affect the schedule, budget, or quality of the product or the testing process

Document and follow detailed instructions within test scripts and defects tracking documents

About you

Strong attention to detail

Understanding of testing concepts and how testing fits in with the overall project life cycle

Strong knowledge in Banking

Able to handle assignment independently with minimum supervision

Technical knowledge in banking application

Good exposure to Agile methodology and JIRA

Hands-on experience in automation for both web and mobile application

Able to script, fix and execute automation script
