Job summary

Genki Sushi (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking energetic individuals to join our Sunway Velocity team as Fulltime Service Crew. You will handle food preparation, customer service, and maintain clean stations in a fast-paced restaurant.

We value strong communication, attention to detail, and a friendly, professional manner when engaging with guests. Prior customer-facing experience is preferred, with a passion for delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Food Preparation: Cook sushi rice, slice fish and vegetables, assemble rolls.

• Station Cleanliness: Maintain hygiene, clean workstations and counters.
• Inventory Support: Monitor stock levels and assist with restocking.

Fulltime Service Crew (Sunway Velocity) Basic + Allowances Provided

Food Preparation: Cook sushi rice, slice fresh fish and vegetables, and assemble rolls like maki, nigiri, and sashimi.

Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and serve meals with a positive attitude.

Station Cleanliness: Maintain hygiene standards by cleaning workstations, tools, and display counters regularly.

Inventory Support: Monitor ingredient stock levels and assist with kitchen prep or restocking supplies.

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the hospitality or food service industry

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment

A passion for providing exceptional customer service and a willingness to go the extra mile
