Genki Sushi Malaysia Sdn Bhd is hiring for a Cashier / Host at Sunway Velocity. The role involves food preparation, customer service, and maintaining clean workspaces to deliver a high-quality dining experience.

Ideal candidates have prior customer-facing experience, strong communication skills, and an eye for detail to perform efficiently in a busy sushi restaurant environment.

• Food preparation: cook sushi rice, slice fish and vegetables, assemble rolls.

• Inventory support: monitor ingredient stock and assist with restocking.

Cashier / Host (Sunway Velocity) Basic + Allowances Salary up to RM2,300

Food Preparation: Cook sushi rice, slice fresh fish and vegetables, and assemble rolls like maki, nigiri, and sashimi.

Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and serve meals with a positive attitude.

Station Cleanliness: Maintain hygiene standards by cleaning workstations, tools, and display counters regularly.

Inventory Support: Monitor ingredient stock levels and assist with kitchen prep or restocking supplies.

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the hospitality or food service industry

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment

A passion for providing exceptional customer service and a willingness to go the extra mile
