Job summary

AGENSI PEKERJAAN TRUST RECRUIT SDN. BHD. is seeking an Accounts & Finance Executive (Full Spectrum) to manage the complete accounting cycle and finance operations from daily processing to month-end closing and audit support.

You will work with management and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial operations across AR, AP, GL, and reporting activities.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, LCCI) is an added advantage.
• Minimum 2-5 years of hands-on experience in accounting and finance.
• Candidates with full-spectrum accounting and finance experience, or full set accounts exposure, are strongly preferred.
• Experience in high-volume or shared services environment is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with ERP/accounting systems; proficient in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, reconciliation schedules).
• Working knowledge of tax regulations (e.g., GST/SST).
• Familiarity with 3-way matching, procure-to-pay, and order-to-cash workflows.
• Experience supporting internal and external audits.

Responsibilities

• Handle the full set of accounts, including AR, AP, GL, and bank reconciliations.
• Maintain the general ledger, journal entries, and month-end accruals.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, financial statements, and supporting schedules.
• Ensure accurate and timely posting of all accounting transactions.
• Process vendor invoices and perform 3-way matching (Invoice vs PO vs Goods Receipt).
• Prepare and execute payment runs within agreed credit terms.
• Issue invoices, track receivables, and follow up on collections.
• Reconcile vendor and customer statements against ledger records.
• Maintain accurate vendor and customer master data.
• Assist in cash flow management, forecasting, and payment planning.
• Support budgeting, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
• Prepare AP/AR aging reports and other finance schedules.
• Assist in month-end and year-end financial close activities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Adhere to internal controls, approval matrix, and delegation of authority.
• Maintain complete records for audit trail purposes.
• Support internal and external audits with schedules, documentation, and responses.
• Prepare and distribute financial and management reports.
• Assist in cash flow and financial performance reporting.
• Contribute to month-end and year-end reporting activities.
• Identify opportunities to streamline accounting and finance workflows.
• Support system upgrades, digitalization, and finance transformation initiatives.
• Undertake ad-hoc duties as assigned by management.
