P&A Smart Solution (M) Sdn. Bhd. in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced Accountant to manage the full spectrum of accounting and financial operations, including GL, AP/AR, month-end close, and tax coordination.

You will support audits, ensure statutory compliance, and provide accurate financial reporting. The role requires strong technical accounting knowledge, analytical skills, and proficiency in accounting software, SQL, and Excel.

Qualifikationen

• Strong knowledge of full-set accounting and financial reporting.
• Ability to independently manage accounting operations with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software, SQL and Microsoft Excel.
• Good understanding of applicable accounting standards, tax requirements, and statutory compliance.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet reporting deadlines.
• Professional communication skills and the ability to work with management and external stakeholders.
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of related experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Manage the full set of accounts, ensuring accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, financial statements, balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing, including accruals, prepayments, depreciation, and other adjusting entries.
• Reconcile bank accounts, intercompany balances, general ledger accounts, and subsidiary ledgers.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control, and cash flow monitoring.
• Prepare financial schedules and supporting documents for external audits, tax computations, and applicable statutory requirements.
• Analyse financial results, investigate variances, and provide meaningful financial information to management.
• Maintain effective internal controls, accounting procedures, and compliance with applicable accounting standards.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, banks, suppliers, customers, and internal departments.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency.
