Job summary

Powtech Solution in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a skilled Full Stack/Backend/Frontend Developer (Angular/Java Spring Boot). The ideal candidate has 3+ years of hands-on experience, strong RESTful API design, and solid SQL data modeling, plus familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.

You will report to the development team lead, work in an agile environment, design and unit test applications, and contribute to maintaining clean, scalable code while collaborating with UI/UX and product teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years proven experience as Full Stack, Backend, or Frontend Developer with Angular and/or Java Spring Boot.
• Strong RESTful API design and data modeling with SQL.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and version control (Git).
• Excellent communication and collaborative problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Full Stack Developer / Backend Developer / Frontend Developer (Angular / Java Spring Boot)

Proven experience (min 3+ years) as a Full Stack, Backend, or Frontend Developer with hands-on expertise in Angular and/or Java with Spring Boot.

Familiarity with the Angular framework and design/architectural patterns (e.g. Microservices, Model-View-Controller (MVC) and Entity framework)

Proficiency in designing and consuming RESTful APIs.

Solid knowledge of database systems, SQL, and data modeling.

Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes.

Experience deploying or integrating applications on AWS (EKS / EC2 / S3 / RDS)

Exposure to testing frameworks like Jasmine, Karma (Angular), JUnit, Mockito (Java).

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Experience using IDE tools like Visual Studio Code and Eclipse.

Self-driven, collaborative, and passionate about clean, maintainable code.

Education and Certification

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Certification in AWS Certified: Developer Associate or equivalent is a plus.

• Design and implement RESTful APIs and back-end services using Java/Spring Boot to support front-end functionalities.
• Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure application quality and performance.
