Job summary

Gratitude Inc. is seeking a Full Stack Developer (Java & Angular) to join our engineering team in Malaysia. You will contribute across backend and frontend development, building scalable enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular and TypeScript.

You will work with developers, QA, BAs and architects in an Agile environment, delivering robust RESTful services and well-structured UI components. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred and 2.5–4 years of experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or related field.
• Strong hands-on experience in full-stack development using Java, Spring Boot and Angular.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, SQL databases, and web technologies (HTML5, CSS3).
• Familiarity with Git-based source control, unit/automated testing, and Agile/Scrum practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain enterprise web applications using Java and Angular.
• Develop backend services and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build responsive UI components with Angular and TypeScript.
• Integrate frontend with backend APIs and third-party services.
• Write clean, maintainable code following architecture standards.
• Work with relational databases and write efficient SQL queries.
• Troubleshoot issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Write unit tests and participate in integration/functional testing.
• Participate in code reviews and improve code quality.
• Collaborate with QA, Business Analysts, Architects and dev teams.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and sprint planning.
• Support deployment and production issue resolution.

About the Role
