Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or related field or equivalent experience.
• At least 2+ years of software development experience.
• Knowledge of OOP and MVC; RESTful APIs development and integration.
• Familiar with web servers (Apache/NGINX) and related tooling.
• Experience with AWS and Laravel is advantageous; strong SQL skills.

Develop and maintain web applications, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.

Collaborate with back-end developers, front-end developers, designers, and other team members to deliver high-quality user interfaces.

Utilise AWS services to deploy and manage web applications in the cloud.

Design and optimise relational databases (e.g. MariaDB, MySQL) to support application functionality.

Troubleshoot and debug application issues, ensuring smooth operation in a production environment.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Candidate(s) must possesses at least a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• At least 2+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Have knowledge of OOP and MVC pattern/concept, RESTful APIs development and integration.
• Familiar with Apache, NGINX or other related WEB servers is a plus.
• Basic experience with AWS services (e.g. EC2, S3, RDS) and Laravel framework is an advantage.
• Proficiency in database management and SQL (MariaDB, MySQL, etc.).
• Familiar with version control system (e.g. Git), DevOps practices, tools, and automation (e.g. Forge, Vapor, etc.)
• Full stack / LAMP / LEMP stack developer will be highly preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality code.
