KCJ Engineering Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia is seeking a capable Maintenance Supervisor to oversee daily mechanical maintenance and facility operations, ensuring all systems function efficiently and safely.

You will coordinate with technicians, contractors, and service providers, perform inspections, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with procedures, specs, and safety standards to improve reliability and efficiency.

Formación

• Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience in mechanical maintenance, facilities management or building services.
• Experience in building maintenance, engineering services or facility operations is preferred.
• Good knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC, pumps, ventilation, plumbing and related equipment.
• Familiar with preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, troubleshooting and equipment inspection.
• Able to read and understand mechanical drawings, technical specifications and equipment manuals.
• Good knowledge of maintenance procedures, safety requirements and relevant technical standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
• Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Responsible, organised and able to manage maintenance activities and operational issues effectively.
• Able to work independently and coordinate with technicians, contractors and project teams.
• Willing to work at project sites and travel when required.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise daily mechanical maintenance and facilities operations.
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment.
• Monitor HVAC, pumps, ventilation, plumbing systems.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with technicians, contractors, subcontractors and service providers.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify equipment faults, defects and potential mechanical system failures.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and coordinate necessary repair and rectification works.
• Ensure maintenance works are carried out according to approved procedures, technical specifications and safety requirements.
• Monitor maintenance schedules, service records and equipment performance.
• Coordinate testing, inspection and commissioning of mechanical systems and equipment when required.
• Monitor availability of spare parts, tools, materials and equipment required for maintenance activities.
• Prepare maintenance reports, inspection records and recommendations for equipment improvement or replacement.
• Ensure contractors comply with contractual obligations, maintenance standards and site safety procedures.
• Assist in planning and implementing maintenance programmes to improve equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
• Liaise with building management, consultants, contractors and relevant authorities on mechanical facility matters.
• Perform other mechanical and facilities-related duties assigned by management.

Job Requirements
