Job summary

Lam Research is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support customers in Malaysia by installing and relocating semiconductor equipment, performing start-up, and conducting preventive maintenance. You will troubleshoot instrument malfunctions, implement ECOs, and maintain thorough service records.

You must be able to travel internationally (90%) and work flexible shifts, including on-call duties. A electronics or engineering degree with 2+ years of experience is required, with strong English

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Engineering, or related field with 2+ years of experience or advanced degree without experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willing to travel overseas and work in shifts.

Responsibilities

• Install and relocate equipment at customers' sites and perform start-up and check-out.
• Provide on-site preventive maintenance and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.
• Coordinate service actions with customers to minimize downtime and ensure safety.
• Assist in implementing ECOs and field modifications as released by engineering.
• Maintain service records and logs accurately for management reporting.
• Travel frequently (internationally) and be prepared for 24/7 on-call standby.
