Job summary

UPS SCS Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Logistics Assistant to support inbound and outbound shipments from Kulai.

You will help prepare shipping documents, coordinate daily tasks, and communicate with suppliers to meet shipping requirements to the US and elsewhere. The role emphasizes building strong customer and vendor relationships, ensuring accuracy in documentation, and liaising with other departments. Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Logistics/Transportation or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of experience in ocean freight operations.
• Excellent customer service experience and interpersonal skills.
• Good command of written and spoken English and local language; pleasant personality.
• Computer literacy with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Strong problem-solving ability and multi-tasking.
• Self-starter who can work independently and is highly motivated.

• To plan, organize and communicate to carry out daily tasks.
• Enhance Customer/Vendor relationships and meet organizational goals.
• To carry out daily administrative work and liaise with others department
• To report any irregularities to Team Lead from time to time.
• To perform any other duties as directed by Team Lead from time to time.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Logistic/Transportation or equivalent.
• At least 3 - 5 years of experience in Ocean freight operations
• Excellent customer service experience and interpersonal skill care required
• Good command of written and spoken in English & local language and possesses a pleasant and courteous personality.
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to multi-tasks
• Must be a self-starter, able to work independently and highly motivated.
