Job summary

Eastrong International Logistics (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking an Import & Export Customer Service and Documentation Executive to manage end-to-end customer service and documentation for sea and air freight. You will coordinate with customers, shipping lines, agents, and internal teams, prepare shipping documents, handle customs coordination, and support billing while maintaining accurate records.

Candidates with 1–3 years in freight forwarding and a Diploma in Logistics/Business are preferred.

Qualifications

• SPM/STPM minimum; Diploma in Logistics/Business preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in freight forwarding / logistics customer service & documentation.
• Proficient in English & Bahasa Malaysia (written & spoken); Mandarin is a strong advantage.
• Familiar with sea/air freight processes, Incoterms, and Malaysian customs requirements.
• Detail-oriented, organized, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Good communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end customer service and full import/export documentation handling for sea & air freight shipments.
• Prepare, check, and process full set of shipping documents: HBL/MBL, invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, customs declarations, permits, arrival notices
• Handle customs clearance coordination, document submission to Royal Malaysian Customs as required
• Process telex release, surrender B/L, and document release procedures in compliance with company policy
• Maintain proper filing and digital record-keeping of all documents and shipment files
• Update shipment data in company system and ensure accurate billing / invoicing support
• Assist with ad-hoc operational tasks and support team during peak periods
