Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a logistics assistant to monitor shipment status, provide operational updates, and ensure timely job closure.

You will follow up on customs clearance, respond to queries, liaise with customers and internal teams, and prepare basic reports while maintaining audit-ready records. Proficiency in English and Mandarin, plus Excel/Google Sheets, is preferred.

Experience in DagangNet, Gatepass, and port systems is an added advantage.

Qualifications

• Graduates/experience in Logistics, Forwarding, or related fields.
• Proficient in English and Mandarin to serve Mandarin-speaking customers.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Google Sheets.
• Familiarity with DagangNet, Gatepass, and Port Systems is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Monitor shipment status and provide operational updates when required.
• Follow up on clearance status and respond to Customs queries, amendments, or additional document requests.
• Liaise with customers and internal teams to ensure smooth daily operations and timely job closure.
• Prepare basic operational and clearance-related reports for internal reference or customers.
• Maintain proper filing and records for audit, compliance, and operational purposes.
• Perform other operational duties as assigned by supervisors.
