Belum Rainforest Management Sdn Bhd is seeking a Food and Beverage Assistant at the Belum Rainforest Resort in Perak. You will deliver courteous guest service, manage dining tables, coordinate with kitchen and stewarding, and suggest menu pairings to enhance guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Food and Beverage Assistant is preferred.
• Ability to follow local food safety and hygiene regulations.

Responsibilities

• Guest service: welcome guests, take orders, and serve meals and beverages professionally.
• Table management: set up tables, clear plates, and reset dining areas.
• Outlet maintenance: keep restaurant areas clean, hygienic and well-organized.
• Kitchen coordination: coordinate with kitchen and stewarding to ensure timely orders.
• Upselling & recommendations: promote specials and pairings to guests.
• Safety & hygiene: adhere to local health and sanitation regulations.

Job description

Guest Service: Welcome guests warmly, take food and drink orders accurately, and serve meals and beverages with a polite and professional attitude.

Table Management: Set up tables, clear dirty plates and glasses promptly, and reset dining areas for upcoming courses or services.

Outlet Maintenance: Keep the restaurant, dining room, bar, and surrounding service stations clean, hygienic, and well-organized at all times.

Kitchen Coordination: Work closely with kitchen and stewarding teams to ensure food orders are delivered smoothly and on time.

Up-Selling & Recommendations: Promote daily specials, recommend food and beverage pairings, and suggest menu alternatives to enhance the guest experience.

Safety & Hygiene: Follow strict local food safety, health, sanitation, and hygiene regulations.
