Job summary

Daisho Food (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Floor Manager to supervise daily front-of-house operations, ensure smooth service flow, and maintain service standards across the dining area, cashier counter, and service stations.

You will lead the service team during peak hours, coordinate with the kitchen, handle customer inquiries, and drive customer satisfaction while supporting the Restaurant Manager in achieving sales targets and operational objectives.

Qualifications

• SPM or equivalent is required.
• 2-3 years of restaurant floor/service experience.
• Experience as Floor Supervisor or Floor Manager is preferred.
• Experience supervising service staff in a busy restaurant environment is an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily front-of-house operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.
• Ensure the dining area, cashier counter, entrance and service stations are clean, organised and ready for operation.
• Monitor table availability, seating arrangements, table turnover and customer waiting times.
• Coordinate closely with the kitchen team to ensure timely food delivery and resolve service delays.
• Handle customer enquiries and minor complaints promptly and professionally.
• Assign daily duties and deploy floor staff according to business volume and manpower availability.
• Conduct pre-shift briefings to communicate daily targets, promotions, special arrangements and service priorities.
• Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, grooming, discipline and work performance.
• Coach staff on customer communication, order taking, serving procedures and service etiquette.
• Ensure the team follows company standard operating procedures and established service standards.
