Job summary

MERITAR SUPPLY CHAIN MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. is seeking a detail-oriented Fleet Administrator in Tanjung Malim, Perak. This full-time role focuses on managing fleet records, documentation, and scheduling to ensure smooth operations and regulatory compliance.

You will coordinate maintenance, processing of permits and licenses, monitor fuel use, and support procurement and vehicle allocation. Strong Excel/Word skills and knowledge of Malaysian regulations are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as Fleet Administrator or similar in fleets/logistics.
• Ability to maintain accurate fleet records and documentation.
• Familiarity with vehicle permits, licenses, road tax renewals and inspections.
• Knowledge of Malaysian traffic regulations and fleet compliance.
• Proficiency in Excel and Word; able to manage spreadsheets/databases.

Responsibilities

• Maintain up-to-date fleet records including registration, insurance, maintenance history, and driver info.
• Coordinate vehicle maintenance schedules and service appointments.
• Process and organise fleet documentation: permits, licenses, road tax renewals, inspection certificates.
• Monitor fuel consumption, mileage and expenses for cost savings.
• Assist with fleet procurement: quotations, vendor management, equipment ordering.
• Support scheduling and allocation of vehicles to operations to optimise utilisation.
• Liaise with drivers, service providers, insurers, and authorities to resolve issues.
• Prepare fleet reports and performance metrics for management review.
• Ensure compliance with traffic regulations and fleet policies.
• Process driver documentation: licenses, medical certificates, training records.
