Job summary

Linde Malaysia Sdn Bhd. is hiring a Fleet Maintenance Supervisor (contract) in Pasir Gudang, Johor, Malaysia. You will lead inspections and repairs for prime movers, tankers, and trailers, ensuring safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance.

You will work with approved workshops and internal stakeholders, document findings in SAP PM, and stay current with industry standards to drive fleet safety and operational performance.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in heavy vehicle maintenance, repair or inspection.
• Knowledge of heavy-duty vehicle systems and maintenance practices.
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety, reliability and roadworthiness of the fleet by inspections and repairs for prime movers, tankers and trailers.
• Coordinate with approved workshops and internal stakeholders to resolve maintenance issues.
• Ensure compliance with transportation safety, environmental and regulatory requirements.
• Document inspection findings and maintain maintenance records in SAP PM, recommending corrective actions.
• Stay updated with industry regulations to support fleet safety and performance improvements.

As a Fleet Maintenance Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety, reliability, and compliance of our transport fleet.

What will you do?

• Ensure the safety, reliability, and roadworthiness of Linde's fleet by verifying vehicle inspections and repairs for prime movers, tankers, and trailers.
• Work closely with approved workshops and internal stakeholders to identify and resolve maintenance issues effectively.
• Ensure compliance with transportation safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Document inspection findings, maintain accurate maintenance records in SAP PM, and recommend corrective actions where necessary.
• Stay up to date with industry regulations and inspection standards to support continuous improvement in fleet safety and operational performance.

Winning in your role

Do you have what it takes?

• SPM or Diploma in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum five (5) years of experience in heavy vehicle maintenance, repair, or inspection.
• Strong knowledge of heavy‑duty vehicle systems, components, and maintenance practices.
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools, inspection equipment, and safety standards.
• Attention to detail and the ability to identify potential safety and compliance issues.
• Good communication and reporting skills, with ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and external service providers.
