Job summary

Linde Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Supervisor to lead preventive maintenance and compliance for our transport fleet on a fixed-term LTC contract in Pasir Gudang, Johor.

You will oversee inspections for prime movers, tankers and trailers, coordinate with workshops, and ensure safety and regulatory standards while maintaining SAP PM records.

Qualifications

• SPM or Diploma in Automotive/Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Verify inspections and repairs for prime movers, tankers, and trailers to ensure roadworthiness.

As a Fleet Maintenance Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety, reliability, and compliance of our transport fleet. Working closely with operations and maintenance teams, you will oversee vehicle inspections, maintenance activities, and regulatory compliance for prime movers, tankers, and trailers. This role offers the opportunity to develop your technical and leadership capabilities while contributing to safe, efficient, and sustainable transport operations that support our customers and business objectives.

What you will do

• Ensure the safety, reliability, and roadworthiness of Linde's fleet by verifying vehicle inspections and repairs for prime movers, tankers, and trailers.
• Work closely with approved workshops and internal stakeholders to identify and resolve maintenance issues effectively.
• Ensure compliance with transportation safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Document inspection findings, maintain accurate maintenance records in SAP PM, and recommend corrective actions where necessary.
• Stay up to date with industry regulations and inspection standards to support continuous improvement in fleet safety and operational performance.

What we are looking for

• SPM or Diploma in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum five (5) years of experience in heavy vehicle maintenance, repair, or inspection.
• Strong knowledge of heavy‑duty vehicle systems, components, and maintenance practices.
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools, inspection equipment, and safety standards.
• Attention to detail with the ability to identify potential safety and compliance issues.
• Good communication and reporting skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and external service providers.
