Qualifications

• Experience in electrical maintenance and PLC handling.
• Ability to read electrical or mechanical schematics.
• Experience in developing and installing machine programs using automation software or custom coding languages.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical maintenance and oversee PLC program installation.
• Draw electrical or mechanical schematics to illustrate process flow.
• Develop and install machine programs for automation systems.
• Define test criteria for automation projects before installation.
• Test automated systems for safety, efficiency, and reliability.
• Ensure installation aligns with specifications and customer requirements.
• Prepare reports on electrical engineering projects and studies.
• Prepare specifications for electrical equipment and material purchases.
• Estimate material and labor costs for budgets.
• Maintain electrical equipment and collaborate with technicians.

Job description

• The task will focus mainly on electrical maintenance and handling PLC.
• Drawing electrical or mechanical schematics to demonstrate how processes will work.
• Developing and installing machine programs using automation software and custom coding languages.
• Determining machine automation test criteria before the final installation.
• Testing automated systems for efficiency, safety, and reliability.
• Overseeing the successful installation of PLC programs.
• Ensuring compliance with specifications, codes, or customer requirements by directing or coordinating installation, manufacturing, construction, maintenance, documentation, support, or testing activities.
• Writing reports and compiling data regarding existing and potential electrical engineering projects and studies.
• Preparing specifications for purchases of electrical equipment and materials.
• Estimating material, labor, or construction costs for budget preparation.
• Maintaining electrical equipment.
• Working with a variety of technicians.

Salary range: RM3,500 - RM4,500 + Fixed allowances
