Job summary

PC Group is seeking a Junior/Senior Automation Control Engineer in Selangor (Shah Alam, Section 27). You will develop and document control systems, design DCS/PLC/SCADA/HMI/RTU programs, and coordinate FAT and site testing with customers.

The role requires strong PLC experience (Siemens/Allen Bradley) and readiness to travel locally and overseas. Ideal candidates hold an Electrical & Electronic Engineering degree, have excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia, and can

Qualifications

• Tertiary education in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or relevant discipline.
• Experience with Ignition Perspective, EcoStruxure PME, and Power Monitoring Expert is advantageous.
• Extensive programming experience in Step 7 / TIA / PCS7 / Siemens PLC and WINCC, Allen Bradley, Ignition.
• Willingness to travel locally and overseas.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops and documents new control systems from concept to qualification.

Job description

As we constantly have projects & system integrations lined up, we want you to join our team as a Junior/ Senior Automation Control Engineer in Selangor (Shah Alam, Section 27).

What Does Our Team Do

• Develops and document new control systems from concept to qualification.
• Designs and develops DCS/PLC /SCADA / HMI / RTU control program for Process/ Facilities automation (Siemens).
• Outlines and reviews low voltage electrical switchboard/ control panels.
• Performs Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) with customers.
• Performs Site Acceptance Tests, Testing & Commissioning with customers.
• Works closely with equipment vendors and contractors to troubleshoot and resolve start-up issues.
• Extends start-up support and training for control and monitoring systems.
• Troubleshoots and eliminates control systems issues and handles controls projects.
• Liaises with other departments, sub-contractor; as well as interacting with customers to provide technical support, troubleshoot, and resolve customer issues.
• Responds to any events impacting production.

Do You Have What It Takes

• Tertiary education in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or relevant discipline.
• Experience with Ignition Perspective, EcoStruxure Power Operation, and Power Monitoring Expert (PME) is highly advantageous.
• Have extensive programming experience in Step 7 / TIA / PCS7 / Siemens PLC and WINCC, Allen Bradley, Ignition.
• Readiness to travel extensively when required (Local and Oversea).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly analytical and attentive to detail as well as proactive at work.
• Fluent in English, and Bahasa Malaysia. Other languages are an added advantage.
• Ability to integrate control systems with other resource planning and management systems.
