Job summary

Metrod Holdings Berhad in Malaysia is seeking a competent finance professional to provide administrative and financial reporting support across the department. You will coordinate consolidated reports, cash flow updates, and regulatory filings to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

In this role, you will manage month‑end closes, GL reconciliations, and intercompany balances, while supporting audits, tax compliance, and data integrity in the enterprise systems.

Qualifications

• Professional accounting qualification such as CA, CPA, ACCA, or an equivalent credential.
• Demonstrable experience in corporate financial reporting, statutory accounting, or audit functions.
• Strong familiarity with international financial reporting standards and general accounting principles.
• Practical experience working with Tier-1 ERP systems and advanced spreadsheet tools.
• Sound leadership and analytical capabilities with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive administrative and financial reporting support to facilitate overall departmental efficiency.
• Prepare consolidated financial reports, cash flow summaries, and official regulatory filings.
• Oversee month-end closing activities, general ledger reconciliations, and intercompany accounts.
• Support external statutory audit processes and tax compliance requirements for domestic and international entities.
• Assist with enterprise system master data maintenance, process improvements, and technical troubleshooting.
• Conduct financial variance analysis and assist with corporate governance and sustainability reporting.
