Job summary

EcoWorld Malaysia is seeking an Accounts Payable professional to support our finance team in Kuala Lumpur. You will verify invoices, capture data, manage payments, and ensure timely processing to maintain supplier relations.

Key duties include reconciliations of creditor statements, bank reconciliations, monthly closings, and collaboration with auditors and tax agents. Attention to detail and ERP proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Accounting: Diploma or degree preferred
• Detail-oriented with good data entry
• Proficient in MS Office and accounting software

Responsibilities

• Handle accounts payable: verify supplier invoices and data capture into the system
• Manage unpaid invoices and liaise with treasury for payments
• Perform creditors’ statement reconciliations to ensure accuracy
• Maintain general ledger reconciliation, pass journals and resolve discrepancies
• Prepare monthly closing, cash flow forecast, and reporting materials
• Liaise with auditors and tax agents; attend monthly meetings
• Conduct bi-weekly bank reconciliations and treasury tasks
• Coordinate with operations on daily financial matters
