Job summary

Dynaciate Engineering Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a detail-oriented finance professional to manage daily financial operations, monitor cash flow, and handle payments to subcontractors, vendors, and staff. You will also prepare periodic financial statements and coordinate with auditors and bankers.

The role requires an LCCI Diploma in Accounting or Cost Accounting, at least 3 years of relevant experience, and fluency in Mandarin to communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Qualifications

• LCCI Diploma in Accounting or LCCI Diploma in Cost Accounting.
• Minimum 3 years experience within the same field.
• Able to work independently without close supervision.
• Good communication and correspondence skills.
• Fluent in Mandarin (speaking, reading and writing) to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily cash flow and handling of petty cash.
• Operate computer accounting software and data entry.
• Check accounting classification, bills and invoices for completeness and accuracy.
• Prepare monthly payments to subcontractors, vendors and staff claims.
• Assign expenses to appropriate cost centers.
• Verify half monthly labour and sub-contractor claims.
• Prepare monthly, annual and other periodic financial statements and reports.
• Prepare annual audit accounts and schedules.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents and bankers.
• Update monthly project status and payments.
