Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a Finance & Reconciliation Assistant/Executive to perform daily reconciliations across payment gateways, wallets, bank accounts and ledgers.

You will verify balances, monitor settlements, and generate insightful reports for management while maintaining meticulous documentation for audits. Mandarin fluency is required, with strong Excel skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related discipline.
• 1–3 years of hands-on experience in high-volume reconciliations or financial ops.
• Fluency in Mandarin and strong English communication is required.

Responsibilities

Job description

Finance & Reconciliation Assistant/ Executive

Perform daily reconciliations across multiple payment gateways, digital wallets, bank accounts and internal ledger systems.

Track, verify, and resolve payment discrepancies, failed transactions, and settlement delays in a timely manner.

Ensure all internal and external balances are verified and accurate on a 24-hour cycle.

Transaction Monitoring

Monitor all fund inflows and outflows across multiple traditional and non-traditional payment channels.

Proactively flag missing funds, delayed settlements, or abnormal differences and abnormal transaction patterns.

Reporting

Prepare daily summary reports for management highlighting the current cash and digital liquidity positions.

Draft comprehensive weekly financial reports and overview.

Continuously refine reporting templates to make data more insightful, and actionable for stakeholders.

Risk Management and Escalation

Immediately highlight and highlight critical mismatches, suspicious transactions or system inconsistencies.

Maintain meticulous documentation for all reconciliation activities to support internal and external audits.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline, with at least 1–3 years of hands‑on experience in high-volume transaction reconciliations or financial operations.

Professional fluency in written and spoken Mandarin is required to handle documentation, systems, and communication with regional stakeholders. Good command of English.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, data parsing). Familiarity with multi‑currency handling, modern fintech payment processing, or alternative digital assets/cryptocurrency transactions is a strong advantage.

Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail when spotting patterns or discrepancies in large datasets.

Able to commence work immediately or on short notice will be an added advantage.
