Job summary

The British International School of Kuala Lumpur Sdn Bhd is seeking a Finance Officer to support the school’s finance department, handling payment processing, month end closing, bank reconciliations, and related tasks. The role reports to the Head of Finance and collaborates with the Finance team and Regional Finance team.

The candidate should have 2 years of experience in audit or finance, be IT literate with MS Office 365, and possess ERP and procurement knowledge.

Qualifications

• 2 years working experience in audit or Finance (handling payables)
• IT literate and proficient in MS Office 365 applications
• Knowledge in ERP systems and procurement processes

Responsibilities

• Month/Year end close: ensure timely close and accurate reports
• Accounts Payable: manage invoices, approvals, coding, and payments
• Withholding tax: prepare payments and file documents for tax audits
• Maintain vendor records, bank reconciliations, and monthly reconciliations
• Assist in audits and liaise with auditors
