Job summary

Autoguard Group in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Finance Lead to support the International Financial Controller based in Dubai. You will help manage the APAC finance operations and ensure accurate reporting and compliance across the region.

The ideal candidate has a Diploma or degree in Accounting or Finance, 2+ years in Finance, strong Excel/Word skills, and excellent English communication. Familiarity with Xero is a plus, and you will work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in Finance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Processing and managing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Prepare data for monthly and quarterly bordereaux reports
• Assist in the preparation of management accounts and other internal reports as required
• Monitor and account for deferred revenue
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management activities
• Assist with compliance matters - audit, corporate tax, SST, e-Invoicing and others where applicable
• Maintain proper documentation of financial records
• Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders on finance related queries
• Supporting the International Financial Controller with ad-hoc tasks and projects as needed

Finance lead in the Kuala Lumpur office, supporting the International Financial Controller based in Dubai. The role is to support the International Financial Controller and carry out such tasks as necessary to ensure the smooth running of the company's finances throughout the APAC region.

Key responsibilities

Processing and managing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions

About you

Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

2 years + experience in Finance

Ability to work independently and effectively, prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping

Experience with Xero accounting software preferred
