Watsons Malaysia is seeking a Finance Officer Accounts Payable on a 1-year renewable contract. You will manage supplier payments, reconciliations, and monthly reporting within a busy retail environment.

The role covers processing EDI invoices, debit/credit notes, and payments (foreign & local). Fresh graduates are welcomed, with opportunities to grow and learn in a collaborative AP team.

Qualifications

• Minimum Degree in Accounting or Equivalent Professional Qualification.

Join our Accounts Payable team and play a key role in ensuring accurate supplier payments, account reconciliations, and financial reporting. This is a 1-year renewable contract position, offering valuable exposure to AP operations, financial controls, and stakeholder management within a dynamic retail environment.

Job Description

Producing monthly statement reconciliations for supplier accounts and handling enquiries relating to payables.

Ensure timely processing of monthly EDI invoices, Debit and Credit Notes, as well as payments to suppliers (Foreign & Local).

Prepare scheduled / ad hoc reports, monthly balance sheet & GL reconciliation.

Supporting other AP team member and achieve a high level of teamwork in completion of document processing or resolving AP related issues.

Job Requirement

Minimum Degree in Accounting or Equivalent Professional Qualification.

Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply.

Open to consider juniors with 1 - 2 years of working experience in the related field.

Process-driven, systematic, analytical with a keen eye for detail.

Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including knowledge of formulas and ability to create and analyse Pivot Tables.

Familiarity with Oracle Finance will be an advantage.
