Watsons Malaysia is seeking a Finance Officer Accounts Payable on a 1-year renewable contract. You will manage supplier payments, reconciliations, and monthly reporting within a busy retail environment.

The role covers processing EDI invoices, debit/credit notes, and payments (foreign & local). Fresh graduates are welcomed, with opportunities to grow and learn in a collaborative AP team.

Qualifications

• Minimum Degree in Accounting or Equivalent Professional Qualification.
• Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply.
• Open to juniors with 1-2 years in related field.
• Process-driven, systematic, analytical with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with Excel formulas and Pivot Tables.

Responsibilities

• Producing monthly statement reconciliations for supplier accounts and handling enquiries relating to payables.
• Ensure timely processing of monthly EDI invoices, Debit and Credit Notes, as well as payments to suppliers (Foreign & Local).
• Prepare scheduled/ad hoc reports, monthly balance sheet & GL reconciliation.
• Support other AP team members and foster teamwork in document processing and issue resolution.
