Job summary

Ambition seeks an Accounts Payable Executive for a 6-month contract based in Balakong, Selangor. The role covers AP operations, reconciliation, treasury support and compliance within a structured finance team.

You will process invoices, maintain supplier data, assist with cash flow forecasts, and support month-end activities while ensuring tax compliance and anti-bribery controls. A bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting and proficiency in Excel/ERP are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting or related discipline.
• Solid knowledge of accounts payable processes and procedures.
• Audit background is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Process and verify vendor invoices, payments and statutory obligations accurately and on time.
• Maintain supplier master data, perform callback verifications and reconcile vendor and bank statements.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts and assist with treasury functions including hedging and short-term deposits.
• Manage petty cash and support month-end and year-end close activities.
• Prepare audit schedules, support audit reviews and ensure tax compliance across SST, withholding tax and corporate tax.
• Handle e-invoicing and self-billing processes in accordance with anti-bribery and anti-corruption requirements.
