Job summary

SOCOE in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to modernize our accounting while protecting capital. You will act as an outsourced strategic partner to accelerate digitalization, delivering automated dashboards and real-time cash-flow visibility for leadership.

Lead budgeting standardization, tighten controls with biometric and multi-signature approvals, and coordinate with auditors and tax vendors on high-stakes projects.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of strong experience managing corporate finance and leading large software/ERP upgrades.
• A professional accounting credential is required (CPA, ACCA, or CIMA background).
• Mastery of major cloud systems like SAP S/4HANA or Oracle Cloud, plus data tools like Tableau or PowerBI.
• Highly disciplined, comfortable with fast-paced changes, and deeply focused on security and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Modernize accounting workflows with automated dashboards for real-time cash flow visibility.
• Standardize budgets across branches to enforce identical financial rules and setups.
• Run strict approval gates (biometric and multi-signature) to protect funds.
• Pivot between routine monthly accounting and urgent corporate emergencies like audits or mergers.

In this role, you will work as an outsourced strategic partner to achieve two main goals: protect the company's capital and upgrade our traditional accounting workflows into automated, modern digital systems. This unique setup cuts through typical corporate delays, giving you a direct line for fast executive escalations when it matters most.

What You Will Do (Key Responsibilities)

• Modernize Financial Tech: Move the company away from old, slow accounting methods and build automated dashboards so leadership can see cash flow in real time.
• Standardize Budgets: Review and align budgets across different business branches to make sure everyone follows the exact same financial rules and system setups.
• Prevent Fraud & Risks: Run strict approval gates (including biometric and multi-signature checks) to protect company funds from fraud and unauthorized spending.
• Handle High-Stakes Projects: Be ready to quickly pivot your focus from routine monthly accounting to urgent corporate emergencies, like big business deals, audits, or mergers.
• Lead Teams and Vendors: Coordinate and direct junior accounting staff, external auditors, and tax vendors across the group.
