About the role
We are seeking a meticulous and technically strong individual to join our team as Finance Manager / Senior Manager. Reporting to the Group Chief Financial Officer, you will be a key member of our team responsible for the timely and accurate preparation of consolidated monthly management accounts, quarterly interim financial statements and annual financial statements. You will also be key focal person to monitor accurate and timely preparation of subsidiaries’ financial reports and management accounts, both within and outside Malaysia.
Key responsibilities
Prepare monthly consolidated management accounts of the Group and perform variance analysis to support financial decision-making
Prepare quarterly interim and annual consolidated financial statements in compliance with Bursa Malaysia requirements and Financial Reporting Standards, including notes to these financial statements
Oversee the preparation of monthly management accounts and annual audited financial statements of certain subsidiaries of the Group, including overseas subsidiaries
Act as a primary liaison person with external auditors on year-end statutory financial audit and tax advisors on various taxation matters, co-ordinating the compilation of supporting documentation to ensure the smooth issuance of relevant reports
Enhance the Group's financial reporting systems and processes to improve accuracy and efficiency
Work with Group CFO to formulate and implement Group accounting policies and procedures
Track updates for accounting and taxation legislation and guidelines and ensure that such matters are implemented by the Group, where applicable
Provide support to the team in various finance-related matters such as annual report preparation, Group budgeting and control, inventory management, operational finance, equity and debt funding matters, acquisitions, business collaborations, etc.
What we require:
Minimum Bachelor's Degree or professional qualification in Accounting or pursuing final level of professional qualification such as ACCA, MICPA, ICAEW or CPA
At least 5 years of relevant work experience, of which at least 3 years are gained from an internationally-affiliated auditing firm. Candidates without the requisite years of experience but with strong technical skills will also be considered
First-hand experience in preparation of consolidated financial statements, with strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and complex accounting matters
Experience in public-listed companies (either as auditor or direct experience) will be an added advantage
Strong work ethics and attitude, ability to be organised and work under time pressure and possessing a solutions-based approach are essential
Good interpersonal skills including ability to collaborate and work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced and cross-functional team, articulate and persuasive and able to communicate well with various levels of staff, management and external parties

Keyfield is principally involved in the chartering of own and third party vessels, providing offshore accommodation, catering, housekeeping, laundry, and medical support services. Presently, Keyfield owns 14 Malaysian-flagged vessels with capacities ranging from 50 to 500 personnel.
We are a panel contractor to PETRONAS Carigali Sdn Bhd ("PCSB") and petroleum arrangement contractors ("PACs"), allowing us to participate directly in all accommodation vessels related tenders issued by PCSB and PACs.
