Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• Registered member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA).
• 8–10 years of experience in accounting and finance, including 3–5 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, taxation, budgeting, internal controls, and cash flow management.
• Familiarity with Bursa Malaysia listing requirements and statutory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall finance and accounting functions, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for Management and the Board.
• Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations, Bursa Malaysia listing requirements, and other statutory requirements.
• Oversee the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory authorities.
• Monitor financial performance, analyse variances, and provide strategic recommendations to support business decisions.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, accounts receivable, and accounts payable to ensure healthy financial operations.
• Develop, implement, and maintain effective internal controls and risk management practices.
• Evaluate financing requirements and manage banking facilities, loan drawdowns, and covenant compliance.
• Lead, coach, and develop the finance team while promoting continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments to support business growth and strategic initiatives.

Job Requirements

Minimum a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.

Registered member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA).

Minimum 8–10 years’ experience in accounting and finance, including 3–5 years in a managerial role.

Strong knowledge of financial reporting, taxation, budgeting, internal controls, and cash flow management.

Familiarity with Bursa Malaysia listing requirements and statutory compliance is an added advantage.
