Job summary

Zohorecruit is seeking a Finance Manager in Kamunting, Malaysia to lead the monthly and annual closing, prepare insightful management reports, and ensure compliance with MFRS/IFRS. The role collaborates with sales and operations to drive financial performance and strategic decisions.

The ideal candidate has 3–7 years in finance, with supervisory experience, strong ERP skills (SAP/Oracle/MD), and fluent English and Mandarin.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting/Finance; professional qualifications preferred.
Minimum 3–7 years of finance experience with 2–3 years in supervisory roles.
Experience in manufacturing, MNCs, or fast-paced environments is advantageous.
Strong understanding of MFRS, IFRS, and statutory requirements.
Proficient in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/MD) and advanced Excel.
Excellent English and Mandarin communication skills; Malay a plus.

Responsibilities

Oversee monthly and annual financial closing for the Malaysia entity.
Prepare management and board reports with detailed financial analysis and variances.
Ensure regulatory compliance and manage audits, tax matters, and external audits.
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning; monitor performance vs budgets.
Develop internal controls to enhance risk management and asset protection.
Collaborate with sales, operations, and cross-functional teams for financial insights.
