Job summary

Zeal Group in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, seeks a Finance Executive to support financial operations, ensure accurate records, and enable timely reporting. The role collaborates with the Finance Manager and stakeholders across departments in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong accounting knowledge, analytical skills, and experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting, including process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, financial reporting, or financial analysis.
• Hands-on experience in month-end closing, account reconciliation, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Perform reconciliations of balance sheet and bank accounts, and investigate discrepancies.
• Process payments and review invoices and supporting documents for accuracy.
• Support month-end closing, prepare schedules and management reports.
• Assist in audits and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and controls.
