Job summary

Luminarix Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead the accounting and finance function in Malaysia. You will oversee full-set accounts, ensure timely reporting, and drive accuracy across budgets, cash flow and compliance for a rapidly growing PSP.

Working closely with the CFO and senior management, you will implement strong internal controls, enhance financial processes and provide insightful financial analysis to support strategic business decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant accounting experience with supervisory duties.
• Hands-on with full-set accounting, month-end closing, and management reporting.
• Experience in budgeting, treasury, tax, audit and controls.
• Experience in fintech/payments or high-volume environment is advantageous.
• Strong Excel skills and familiarity with Xero or similar ERP.
• Excellent written and spoken English; able to manage deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full-set accounts including AP/AR and GL.
• Lead monthly, quarterly and year-end closing processes.
• Review journals, accruals, bank reconciliations and balance sheet schedules.
• Prepare monthly management accounts with variance explanations.
• Provide financial analysis to support decisions.
• Manage treasury, cash-flow forecasts and funding.
• Ensure compliance and liaise with auditors and tax agents.
• Develop finance policies, SOPs and internal controls.
