Job summary

Xplor Technologies is seeking a Finance Manager in Kuala Lumpur to lead the accounting function across the group. You will mentor the team, manage GL/AP/AR, and drive timely financial reporting, tax compliance and audits across multiple jurisdictions.

You will partner with the Finance Director on budgeting, cash flow management and strategic initiatives, while implementing process improvements and ERP automation to strengthen controls.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting and Finance; professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CA or equivalent).
• At least 10 years’ experience in accounting and finance, including leading teams.
• Experience managing accounting across multiple legal entities and jurisdictions; statutory reporting & audits.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, consolidation, taxation, internal controls, and audit requirements.
• Experience in multinational/fintech/technology or high-growth environments preferred.
• Hands-on with ERP systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, SAP; advanced Excel and automation skills.
• Experience with BI tools (Power BI or similar) advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop the accounting team to drive accountability and continuous improvement.
• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations: GL, AP, AR, treasury, fixed assets, month-/year-end closes.
• Ensure timely monthly financial results, balance sheet reconciliations and management reporting.
• Own statutory reporting, audits, tax compliance and regulatory obligations across jurisdictions.
• Collaborate with the Finance Director on budgeting, cash flow and financial planning.
• Drive finance process improvements, system enhancements and automation.
