Job summary

PAYOK is seeking an experienced Finance Manager in Malaysia to lead the full spectrum of finance and accounting operations, including month-end close, statutory compliance, budgeting, and cash-flow management. This hands-on role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to partner with country leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• ACCA, CPA, CIMA, MIA, or equivalent preferred.
• 4–5 years of finance/accounting experience, supervisory preferred.
• Experience in medium-sized, fast-growing, or international settings is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian accounting, tax, payroll, and statutory requirements.
• Hands-on with ERP and accounting systems.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets.
• Strong English communication; Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage full accounting cycle: AP, AR, GL, reconciliations, month-end closing.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Review P&L, balance sheet, and cash-flow statements.
• Coordinate annual audits with external auditors.
• Budgeting and forecasting: prepare budgets, monitor variances.
• Cash flow management and working capital optimization.
• Tax & statutory compliance across Malaysia.
• Payroll coordination with HR/payroll.
• Business partnering with country manager and dept heads.
• Lead process improvements and automation in finance.
