Intersit Office Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee financial accounting and reporting, based in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. The role emphasizes robust financial analysis and governance to support management decisions.

You will manage the general ledger, tax compliance, audits, and team leadership. A professional accounting qualification (ACCA/ICAEW/ACA) and 5–7 years of relevant experience are required; Mandarin language skills are preferred.

Qualificações

• 5–7 years of relevant experience in financial accounting, reporting and analysis
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial data analysis
• Knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards, tax regulations and governance

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and oversee accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with accounting standards and regulations
• Manage general ledger and ensure proper transaction recording
• Supervise accounts receivable/payable, invoice processing and payments
• Monitor cash flow and working capital for liquidity
• Conduct monthly, quarterly and annual reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
• Prepare detailed financial analyses and variance reports for management
• Ensure tax compliance and internal controls
• Lead and mentor finance staff and coordinate with auditors
• Develop and implement internal controls and SOPs
• Manage finance-related projects and process improvements

About the role

Intersit Office Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our growing finance team. This is a full-time position based in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. In this strategic role, you will oversee the financial accounting and reporting functions of the organisation, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of financial information. The Finance Manager plays a critical role in supporting management decision-making through robust financial analysis and maintaining the highest standards of financial governance.

What you'll be doing

• Prepare and oversee the production of accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements
• Manage the general ledger and ensure all transactions are recorded accurately and categorised appropriately
• Supervise and coordinate the accounts receivable and accounts payable functions, including invoice processing and payment management
• Monitor cash flow and working capital management to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational requirements
• Conduct monthly, quarterly and annual financial reconciliations and investigations of discrepancies
• Prepare detailed financial analysis and variance reports to support management decision-making and strategic planning
• Ensure compliance with tax obligations, financial regulations and internal control procedures
• Lead and mentor members of the finance team, fostering a culture of accuracy and continuous improvement
• Liaise with external auditors and manage the audit process to ensure smooth completion and resolution of audit findings
• Implement and maintain internal controls and standard operating procedures within the finance function
• Manage finance-related projects and process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

What we're looking for

• A professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, ICAEW, ACA, or equivalent recognised certification
• Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in financial accounting, reporting and analysis roles
• Strong proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems; experience with ERP systems is advantageous
• Preferably Mandarin Speaking candidate to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
• Advanced competency in Microsoft Excel and financial data analysis
• In-depth knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards, tax regulations and corporate governance requirements
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and compliance
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to interpret complex financial data
• Proven leadership and team management experience with the ability to develop and motivate finance staff
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
• Integrity and professionalism with a high degree of confidentiality and discretion
