Job summary

Qualifications

• 5-8 years' finance and accounting experience for Assistant Manager level; 8+ years for Manager level.
• Experience in financial reporting, consolidation, budgeting, forecasting, and audit coordination.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly financial closing and ensure timely preparation of management accounts.
• Review Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports for accuracy.
• Manage group consolidation, including intercompany reconciliations and reporting.
• Prepare and present monthly financial performance reports to management.
• Analyse financial results, identify key variances, and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Monitor business performance, profitability, cash flow, and key financial indicators.
• Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and working capital management.
• Ensure timely processing of payments, staff claims, invoices, and financial transactions.
• Coordinate annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Support business expansion, investment evaluation, and financial modelling exercises.
• Manage external audits and liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and professional advisors.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Strengthen internal controls, financial processes, and reporting systems.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support management decision-making.
• Undertake ad-hoc finance projects and other assignments as required by management.
• Able to work independently and partner effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, MIA or equivalent) is an advantage.

Experience in financial reporting, consolidation, budgeting, forecasting, and audit coordination.

Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
