Job summary

You will drive month-end close, contribute to budgeting, and support IPO readiness with well-documented records. Strong Excel and accounting system proficiency, plus 5–10 years of experience, are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; professional qualifications preferred (ACCA/CPA/MIA).
• 5–10 years of relevant experience; Big 10 audit or listed company exposure is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of MFRS/IFRS and financial reporting standards.
• Experience in financial reporting, month-end closing, and audit coordination.
• Good understanding of statutory compliance and internal controls.
• Ability to support IPO readiness and financial data preparation.
• Excellent multitasking and strong work ethic; detail-oriented and self-motivated.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems; experience with internal control/SOP implementation.

Job description

Responsible for overseeing financial reporting, statutory compliance, and audit coordination to ensure accurate and timely financial information.

Support month-end and year-end closing processes, strengthen internal controls, and ensure compliance with MFRS/IFRS standards.

Play a key role in preparing the company for potential IPO readiness by ensuring financial records are complete, well-documented, and audit-ready.

Support financial analysis, budgeting processes, and continuous improvement of finance operations within a structured finance function.

Requirements

Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent. Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, or MIA membership are preferred.

Minimum 5-10 years of relevant working experience in a related field. Exposure to Big 10 audit firms or a listed company environment will be an added advantage.

Strong knowledge of MFRS/IFRS and financial reporting standards.

Experience in financial reporting, month-end closing, and audit coordination.

Good understanding of statutory compliance and internal controls.

Ability to support IPO readiness and financial data preparation.

Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.

Experience in internal control and SOP implementation.

Exposure to IPO readiness or due diligence processes will be an added advantage.

Excellent multitasking skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines and a strong work ethic.
