Job summary

Hunter Douglas Asia Operations’ Shah Alam office is seeking a motivated Finance Intern to support daily accounting tasks and administrative duties. You will handle asset movements, process invoices, support credit control, and assist with stock verification.

The role offers exposure to real-world finance operations and a collaborative environment with an experienced team, ideal for students pursuing accounting or finance degrees.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.
• Detail-oriented, organized and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring fixed assets including CAPEX, disposal and asset movement verification.
• Key in purchase invoices into the accounting system accurately.
• Compile and organize supporting documents for payment processing.
• Check and verify online bills and invoices.
• Assist with credit control and tracking outstanding payments.
• Support inventory adjustment and stock verification activities.
• Provide general administrative support to the Finance team when required.

About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to support our Finance team in daily accounting and administrative tasks. This internship provides valuable exposure to real-world finance operations and hands-on experience in accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in monitoring fixed assets including CAPEX, disposal and asset movement verification

Key in purchase invoices into the accounting system accurately

Compile and organize supporting documents for payment processing

Check and verify online bills and invoices

Assist with credit control and tracking outstanding payments

Support inventory adjustment and stock verification activities

Provide general administrative support to the Finance team when required

Requirements

Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field

Basic understanding of accounting principles is an advantage

Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)

Detail-oriented, organized, and willing to learn

Good communication and teamwork skills
