Job summary

Max Outdoor Sdn Bhd is seeking a Finance Intern to join our Finance team at the Kelana Jaya, Selangor office. This internship offers practical experience in financial accounting and reporting, with hands-on involvement in daily finance operations and exposure to accounting processes.

The role focuses on supporting general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting, while developing technical finance knowledge and professional communication skills in a dynamic business

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software packages.
• Solid understanding of fundamental accounting principles and the accounting cycle.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the preparation and maintenance of general ledger entries and journal entries.
• Supporting the reconciliation of bank statements and balance sheet accounts.
• Helping to compile and organise financial data for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Supporting the preparation of financial statements and schedules.
• Performing data entry and verification tasks to ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Assisting with invoice processing and expense management.
• Supporting audits by gathering and organising required documentation.
• Undertaking ad hoc financial analysis and reporting tasks as required.

About the role
Max Outdoor Sdn Bhd is seeking a Finance Intern to join our Finance team on a full-time basis, based in our Kelana Jaya, Selangor office. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual to gain practical experience in financial accounting and reporting within a dynamic business environment. As a Finance Intern, you will support the finance department in day-to-day operations whilst developing your understanding of financial processes, accounting principles, and business operations. This role is fundamental in helping our finance team maintain accurate financial records and deliver timely financial reporting.

What you'll be doing
