Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant finance/accounting experience.
• Experience in billing, AR, credit control or utility finance is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting and internal controls.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with accounting/ERP systems is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and organisational skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day finance and accounting activities.
• Monitor utility billing, revenue collection, AR and AP.
• Review invoices and ensure proper supporting records.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and management reports.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Assist in budgets, cash flow projections and financial analysis.
• Monitor expenditure against budgets and provide variance analysis.
• Ensure proper recording and documentation of financial transactions.
• Liaise with internal departments, customers, suppliers, auditors, banks and tax agents.

KKIP Utilities Sdn. Bhd. is looking for a dedicated and experienced Finance Executive to join our team in supporting the Company's financial operations and ensuring effective financial management of our utility business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and oversee day-to-day finance and accounting activities of the Company.
• Monitor and review utility billing, revenue collection, accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Review utility invoices and ensure billing records are accurate and properly supported.
• Perform regular reconciliation of customer accounts, bank transactions and other financial records.
• Monitor outstanding balances and provide financial information relating to receivables and collections.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, schedules and management reports.
• Assist in monthly and year-end closing activities.
• Assist in preparing budgets, cash flow projections and financial analysis.
• Monitor expenditure against approved budgets and provide variance analysis.
• Ensure proper recording and documentation of financial transactions in accordance with Company policies and accounting standards.
• Liaise with internal departments, customers, suppliers, auditors, tax agents, banks and other relevant parties on finance-related matters.
• Support internal and external audit processes and provide the required supporting documents.
• Ensure compliance with applicable financial, tax and statutory requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, controls and reporting.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by the management from time to time.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in finance/accounting.
• Experience in billing, accounts receivable, credit control or utility-related finance will be an advantage.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting and internal controls.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with accounting/ERP systems is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills.
