• Prepare full set of accounts compliant with Malaysia Financial Reporting Standards.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and variances.
• Assist in budgets and forecasts; monitor budget performance.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION

This position acts a pivotal role in managing the financial aspects of an organization. Responsible for overseeing financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and providing financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

• Prepare financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements to management and stakeholders.
• Prepare a full set of accounts in compliance with Malaysia Financial Reporting Standards.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
• Monitor budget performance and make recommendations for adjustments as needed.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
• Record and reconcile financial transactions in the organizations accounting software.
• Verify and document financial transactions and maintain appropriate documentation.
• Assist in preparing financial documentation for audits and tax filings.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
• Utilize accounting software and financial management tools to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging financial technologies.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelors degree in accountancy or finance or any related field.
• Proven experience in finance or accounting roles; with a strong understanding of financial principles and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software and financial analysis tools e.g.: Office Central.
• Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and compliance requirements.
• Language (s) required. English and Malay.
• Able to work with a very minimum supervision.
• Possesses high analytical thinking and ability to execute a management direction.
